Eleven straight for MGCCC baseball after Coahoma Sweep

Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College outscored Coahoma 31-5 in a doubleheader sweep Saturday to extend the team's winning streak to 11 games. The Bulldogs (12-3) won game one 21-5 as Patrick Kirkland and Zach DeSoto both homered. In game two Gulf Coast shut out Coahoma 10-0 with Corey Groue going 2-for-3 with a double, three RBI, and three runs scored. Jeremy Hill also had two hits including a home run while pitcher Bryan Babin got the win.
Gulf Coast opens MACJC South Division play Mar. 16 with a home doubleheader against East Central beginning at 2 p.m.
