MGCCC baseball this weekend

Trey Porter had two home runs and drove in seven in two games at the East Central Tournament Feb. 20.
MGCCC baseball defeated Andrews College (GA.) 12-2 in 6 innings and Baton Rouge CC 13-3 in 6 innings at the East Central Tournament Saturday in Decatur.
In the 12-2 win over Andrews College, Patrick Kirkland smacked a two-run homer while Trey Porter had three hits including a homer and 3 RBI. Jeremy Hill struck out four and earned the win on the mound.
Against Baton Rouge C.C., one of Trey Porter's three hits was a grand slam while Jay Bell added two more hits for the Bulldogs (4-3). Kenneth Atwood notched five strikeouts in five innings of work for the victory.
Gulf Coast travels to Brewton, AL. Thursday to take on Jeff Davis C.C.
