Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College headed into the Easter Weekend with a doubleheader split against Northwest Good Friday at Perk.
The Bulldogs (25-11) won game one 12-2 in 6 innings but lost the nightcap 4-3. In game one, starting pitcher Bryan Babin (3-0) got the win after going up no earned runs in five innings while striking out five. Jeremy Hill continued his torried hitting pace by going 4-for-4 with 5 RBI'S. Will White and Corey Groue each had two hits, with Groue adding a solo homerun, his third of the season.
In game two, Hill smacked a two-run homer, his ninth of the season. The sophomore from Long Beach is batting .475 in 2009.
Gulf Coast travels to East Central Apr. 15 to take on the Warriors.
