  • MGCCC Bulldog cheerleaders, mascot win top awards at camp

    The Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College cheerleaders and Bulldog mascot won several awards at competitions during the Universal Cheerleader Association (UCA) College Cheerleading Camp held at The University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa July 22-24. The 17-member squad won Superior awards in all competitions, second place in Sideline and third place in Cheer. The Bulldog mascot won the Superior Mascot award. Full Story

  • 2011 Cheerleader and Mascot Tryouts

    Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College will hold a cheerleader and mascot workshop and tryouts April 15-17, 2011, at the Weathers/Wentzell Center (gymnasium) on the Perkinston Campus. The pre-tryout workshop will be held Friday, April 15, at 5 p.m., and on Saturday, April 16, at 9 a.m. Closed tryouts will be held Sunday, April 17, beginning at 2 p.m. Full Story
