COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (Nov. 13, 2009) – The National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) is excited to announce the creation of NJCAA TV, which will officially launch Nov. 19, 2009 on the organization’s official website www.njcaa.org. NJCAA TV will be available on the NJCAA website at www.njcaa.org/tv and is set to launch its first broadcasts Nov. 19-22 as NJCAA TV will video stream all 27 matches of the NJCAA Division I Volleyball Championship LIVE from Council Bluffs, Iowa.

Panhandle Sports Broadcasting (www.PSBLive.com ) is a regional sports internet broadcasting company based in Florida that provides coverage of college, high school and youth sports through internet streaming in audio and video media.

The creation of NJCAA TV provides both the NJCAA and Panhandle Sports Broadcasting an opportunity to showcase their organizations to a national audience. NJCAA TV’s home on the NJCAA website (www.njcaa.org ) is the perfect location for the channel as the site averages over a million hits a month and is the official site for two-year college athletics. With the addition of NJCAA TV, the website can now also proclaim itself as the official website of LIVE video coverage of NJCAA Championship events.

“We are very excited about NJCAA TV,” proclaims NJCAA Executive Director Mary Ellen Leicht. “This partnership with Panhandle Sports Broadcasting will go a long way in helping us further promote our great student-athletes and member colleges as well as showcase the great competition at our national championships.”

Since the start of the 2009-2010 academic year, the efforts of the NJCAA National Office has catapulted the organization into the video age first with the creation of the weekly video web show NJCAA 360º, with new episodes uploaded each Wednesday at www.njcaa.org, and now NJCAA TV.

In addition to live coverage, NJCAA TV will also provide archives of previous broadcasts that will be accessible any time. DVD copies of each individual broadcast will be available for purchase through Panhandle Sports Broadcasting.
