MGCCC Hilton Garden Inn Invitational Results

Meridian scorched Windance Country Club Monday to a 1-under team total of 287 for a whopping 15 shot lead in the 2009 MGCCC Hilton Garden Inn Invitational. Defending NJCAA D-II National Champion John A Logan sits in 2nd place at 302, followed by South Mountain (304), Central Alabama (306), Darton (307), Faulkner State (310), William Carey (312), Spring Hill (313), Mississippi Gulf Coast (314), ABAC (317), NE MS and Co-Lin (318), Rend Lake (319), Wallace State and East Central (325), Andrew (336), Hinds (343) and Pearl River (355).
Meridian holds the first three spots on the Individual Leaderboard as Cory Williamson shot a 2-under 70 while teammates Garrett Westbrook fired a 1-under 71 and Clemens Dvorak cruised to an even-par 72. Skyler Dennis leads all MGCCC golfers with a 77, followed by Brandon Herrington (78), Richie Williams (79), Colin McNamara (80) and Nic Ishee (82). The 18-team tournament will conclude with 18 holes today beginning at 9:00 AM.
