MGCCC golf comes from behind to win first 2010 match

Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College began its quest for a third straight Region 23 title by winning the first MACJC golf match of the season by three shots over Northwest Community College.
Gulf Coast began the day eight shots behind Northwest in third place. Bulldog golfer Michael Wilkinson was named to the All-Tournament team and finished in a tie for sixth.
The two-day event was played at Sunkist C.C. in Biloxi and Grand Bear Golf Club in Saucier. Gulf Coast will compete in the second MACJC event Feb. 20-1 in Forest, MS.
