NJCAA REGION 23 Golf Championship Results
April 27, 2008
Mississippi Gulf Coast shot 304 at the 6900-yard MSU Golf Course in Starkville to take a 13 shot lead into Tuesday's final round of the NJCAA Region 23 Golf Championship. MACJC State champion Co-Lin shot 317, followed by East Mississippi 319, Hinds 322, and Northeast 327.
Hinds' Elliott Bingham leads all golfers with a 1-under 71, followed by MGCCC's Richie Williams at even-par 72. Nic Ishee (MGCCC) and Ryan Ratcliff (Co-Lin) shot 2-over 74's, followed by Alex Rowland (ICC) and Corey Ward (MGCCC) at 75. Gulf Coast's Michael Wilkinson shot 83 to round out the scoring for Gulf Coast.
The top team and the next five individuals not on that team will advance to the NJCAA National Championship May 19-22 at Goose Pond Colony Golf Course in Scottsboro, AL.
