PERKINSTON, Ms.---The 2009-10 season began on a high note for Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College in a 100-76 rout of Loyola’s JV team Nov. 3 at the Weathers/Wentzell Center.
The Bulldogs (1-0), the defending Region 23 Champions, jumped out to a quick 10-0 lead and stretched it to 58-40 by halftime. Carneillus Denson, Raymond Cintron, and Willis Brownlee chipped in 18 points apiece to lead the Bulldogs.
Gulf Coast entertains Mississippi Delta Nov. 5 in men’s and women’s action. Game times are 5 p.m. and 7 p.m.
