MGCCC sweeps East Central on Hardwood

Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College won it's second straight MACJC South Division game Tuesday Night with a 74-71 victory over East Central. The Bullldogs (12-5, 2-3) were led by Marlon Williams with 19 points while Travis Rasco added 11.

The Lady Bulldogs defeated East Central 62-51 to improve to 6-10 overall and 2-3 in the MACJC South Division. Gulf Coast led 51-39 with five minutes to go but the Lady Warriors went on a 9-0 run to close the gap to 51-48 with three minutes reamining. A 9-3 run by the Lady Bulldogs sealed the victory. Kiara Johnson led Gulf Coast with 16 points while Ebony Davis had 12 and Brooke Eccles added 11.

Gulf Coast travels to Southwest Thursday.
