MGCCC swept by Baton Rouge

BATON ROUGE, La.---Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College dropped it's first game of the 2009-10 season as Baton Rouge Community College dropped the Bulldogs 65-59 Wedneday Night. Gulf Coast (6-1) trailed most of the game but tied it at 59-59 with 1:33 reamining, but Baton Rouge closed the contest on a 6-0 run to seal the victory.

Raymond Cintron led the Bulldogs with 16 points while Marvin Adams added 12.

The Lady Bulldogs feel to 2-3 in a 93-58 loss to Baton Rouge.

Gulf Coast will host the annual Gulf Coast Classic Nov. 23-24 at the Weathers/Wentzell Center on the college's Perkinston Campus. The schedule for the two day, eight team event is as follows:
