MGCCC Soccer sweeps Co-Lin again

Lady Bulldogs still alive for post-season
WESSON, Ms.---For the second time in as many days, Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College swept Co-Lin on the soccer field.
On Saturday, the Bulldogs clinched their 8th MACJC South Division title with a 7-0 shutout of Co-Lin at the Gulfport Sportsplex. On Monday, Gulf Coast (13-0-2, 9-0) shut out the Wolves 8-0 as Cameron Bosley netted three goals, Angel Plascencia had two, and Taylor Thrash, Zachary Villarrubia and Justin Wingerter each had one.
The Lady Bulldogs (12-3-1, 7-2) also shut out Co-Lin 9-0 with Shelby Nichols leading the way with four goals. Ashley Harvey, Kelli Ranson, and Sarah Wilson also chipped in with a goal apiece.
Both teams will finish the regular season at Pearl River Wednesday, Oct. 21. The Lady Bulldogs go to the upcoming MACJC State Tournament at Hinds if they either defeat Pearl River, tie, or lose to the Lady Wildcats by one goal. Game times are at 5:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
