MGCCC soccer sweeps Jones to open MACJC South Division play

ELLISVILLE---Both Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College soccer teams survived rainy conditions to earn wins against Jones Friday to open MACJC South Division action.

The Bulldogs used an overtime goal by Chris Nettles to beat the Bobcats 1-0 to improve to 4-0-1 and 1-0.

The Lady Bulldogs upped their record to 5-0 with a 1-0 win thanks to a first half goal by Katy Buchanan.

Gulf Coast travels to Decatur to take on East Central Sept. 15.
