MGCCC soccer sweeps Southwest

SUMMIT, Ms.---Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College remains unbeaten after a 2-0 win over Southwest Oct. 13.

Chris Nettles scored two goals while Angel Plascencia added another in the shutout. Four days earlier, the Bulldogs (11-0-2, 7-0) hammered East Central 9-1.

The Lady Bulldogs trounced Southwest 9-0 as Allison Gray, Courtney Fairley, and Shelby Nichols each scored twice. Katy Buchanan and Kailie Patterson added the other goals. On Oct. 9 the Lady Bulldogs (10-3-1, 5-2) shutout East Central 11-0.

Gulf Coast hosts Co-Lin Oct. 17 at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.
