PERKINSTON, Ms.---In a re-match of the 2009 Region 23 title game, Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College split a doubleheader with #11 LSU-Eunice.

In game one, a 3-1 victory by Gulf Coast (7-1), pitcher Lindsey Dickerson upped her record to 2-0 while Megan Colvin drove in all three Lady Bulldog runs at the plate. Colvin smacked a first inning RBI double and a third inning sacrifice fly that plated two. The Lady Bengals (10-2) took the nightcap 2-0. Gulf COast travels to Northwest FL. C.C. for a doubleheader Feb. 24.
