MGCCC softball sweeps East Miss.

SCOOBA, Ms.---The first regular season sweep is in the books for the Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College Lady Bulldogs. Gulf Coast (10-2) took a doubleheader from East Mississippi 8-0 and 13-1 Wednesday to make it a regular season sweep of the Lady Lions in 2010.
In game one, Lady Bulldog pitcher Linsey Dickerson ran her record to 4-0 with a three-hit, three-strikeout complete game performance. At the plate Tiffany Fuller and Julie Mercer had three hits a piece top lead the team's 14 hit attack.
The nightcap featured a win by Lauren Bates (3-1) and a save from Bayliegh Babin on the mound and another 14-hit outbourt on offense. Fuller again led the team with four hits while Whitney Welford had three.
The No. 6 ranked Lady Bulldogs travel to No. 20 LSU-Eunice Thursday for a doubleheader before coming back home to host Itawamba Mar. 6.
