PERKINSTON---Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College bounced back from a road sweep at LSU-E by taking two from Itawamba Saturday. The No. 7 ranked Lady Bulldogs beat Itawamba 4-0 and 7-2 to improve to 12-4 overall.
Game one featured another complete game win by pitcher Linsey Dickerson (5-1) and two hits apiece by Tiffany Fuller and Mandy Fuller. Lauren Bates upped her pitching record to 5-1 in the game two victory with Courtney Fairley, Megan Colvin, and Julie Mercer each adding two hits at the plate.
Gulf Coast begins MACJC South Division play Mar. 10 at Hinds.
