WESSON---"Sweep or be swept" seems to be the trend lately for Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College. The No. 7 Lady Bulldogs were swept by Co-Lin in an MACJC South Division doubleheader Apr. 17 4-0, 4-0 to tighten the race ofr the division title. This week Gulf Coast (30-10, 14-6) was swept on the road by Southwest Monday then rebounded by sweeping archrival Pearl River Wedensday before falling to Co-Lin twice Saturday.

Pitcher Linsey Dickerson fell to 14-4 in game one while the Lady Bulldog offense could only manage four hits. Lauren Bates (13-3) took the game two loss as Gulf Coast again could only scratch out four hits.

The first place Lady Bulldogs take on second place East Central Apr. 23 at 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. in Perkinston.
