PERKINSTON---The hits...and the wins just keep on comin for No. 9 Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College. The Lady Bulldogs (28-6, 12-2) extended their winning streak to 15 with a 10-2, 4-1 doubleheader sweep of Hinds Friday.

In the game one victory, Gulf Coast pitcher Linsey Dickerson (13-2) struck out four to earn another win in the circle. Her teammates helped her out at the plate as Courtney Fairley led off the bottom of the first with a solo homer, her second this season. Gulf Coast broke open the 2-0 game in the 4th with a seven run outburst. Fairley had three hits in the win while Megan Colvin, Kayla Moran, Mandy Fuller, and Mariah Partman each had two hits.

The 4-1 decision in the nightcap was led by pitcher Lauren Bates (10-1) who gave up one run, scattered three hits and struck out four. At the plate, Many Fuller had two hits including a solo homer, her fifth this season. Sarah Smaltz chipped in with three hits and an RBI in the team's 15h straight win.
