MGCCC moves up to No. 17

PERKINSTON — Mississippi Gulf Coast jumped three places in the latest NJCAA Football Rankings, coming in at No. 17 Tuesday.

 

The Bulldogs defeated Mississippi Delta 52-20 last week to improve to 4-2. They face Southwest on Thursday at A.L. May Memorial Stadium. Kickoff is at 7 p.m.

 

Gulf Coast is one of five MACJC teams in the top 20. The others are No. 1 East Mississippi, No. 7 Hinds, No. 10 Northwest and No. 14 Jones County.
