PERKINSTON — Mississippi Gulf Coast's DaJuan Moorer and LaRaymond Spivery will play in the MACJC All-Star Game on April 12 in Decatur.
They will be playing one last time for the Gulf Coast head coach Wendell Weathers and assistant Kyle Cooper, who have been selected to coach the South squad.
Moorer, a sophomore forward from Pensacola, led the team averaging 11.5 points and 8.2 rebounds per game. For his two-year Bulldogs career, he averaged 10.7 points and 8.0 rebounds per game.
Spivery, a sophomore point guard from Lucedale, averaged 10.6 points and 4.5 rebounds per game. He had a team-best 5.4 assists and 2.2 steals. For his two-year Bulldogs career, he averaged 12.3 points, 4.9 rebounds, 5.1 assists and 2.4 steals.
The game will be played at Brackeen-Wood Gymnasium on the East Central campus. Tipoff is at 7 p.m. with admission being $8 for adults and $5 for students.
