Booker named MACJC Player of the Week

PERKINSTON — Mississippi Gulf Coast's D'yasmond Booker has been named MACJC Player of the Week after two tremendous games.

Booker, a freshman guard/forward from Pascagoula, narrowly missed a pair of double-doubles during a 2-0 week for the Bulldogs. He had 25 points and nine rebounds in a 79-53 win at Coastal Alabama-East, and turned in a monstrous 17-point, 20-rebound effort in a 75-67 win over Delgado. He also had two assists and three steals against the Dolphins.

Booker is now eligible for the NJCAA Player of the Week award.
