Mississippi Gulf Coast extended its MACJC South Division win streak to 18 games Thursday, thrashing Meridian 11-0.

Jordan Hall (So, Manchester, England/Royton and Crompton) had a career-high five goals, and Max Johnson (Fr, Rugby, England/Harris Church of England Academy) added a hat trick.

The 11 goals are the most the Bulldogs (5-1, 4-0 South) have scored in coach Chris Handy's six seasons.  Gulf Coast finishes the first half of the division schedule with maximum points and maximum goal differential.

Hall had 28 goals in 18 games last year to finish second in the country. He already has 14 in six contests.

Johnson has four goals this season. Jeff Bruni Jr. (So, Gulfport/Gulfport), Caleb Counselman (So, Pass Christian/Pass Christian) and Jonathan Page (So, Gulfport/West Harrison) also scored.

Owen Betz (So, Pass Christian/St. Stanislaus) and the Bulldogs defense registered their fifth straight shutout. Gulf Coast has outscored the opposition 29-0 in that stretch.

The only goals the Bulldogs have allowed came in a 2-1 loss at No. 1 Tyler to open the season.

Gulf Coast entertains Andrew College at 2 p.m. Saturday.
