PERKINSTON — The Gulf Coast women's basketball team returns to action for the first time in 20 days Thursday when the Lady Bulldogs travel to play Delgado.

Because of repairs to their home gym, the Lady Dolphins are playing their games at The Alario Center, located at 2000 Segnette Blvd. in Westwego. Tipoff is scheduled for 5:30 p.m.

Last Time Out

  • Way back on Dec. 9, the Lady Bulldogs defeated Northwest on its homecourt 61-59 on a last-minute layup by Azaria Howard (So., Richland/Richland).
  • Delgado lost 74-54 to East Central on Monday.

Previous Meeting

On Dec. 6, 2017, Gulf Coast pounded Delgado 55-23 in Perkinston. Truth Taylor led the Lady Bulldogs with 13 points.

  • Howard leads MGCCC with 14.8 points and 7.0 rebounds per game.
