PERKINSTON — The Mississippi Gulf Coast women's tennis team remained undefeated Thursday by wiping out Coastal Alabama-South 9-0 at the MGCCC Sports Complex.


Bianca Buie (So, Baia Mare, Romania/Gheorghe Sincai National High School) and Margarita Lopareva (Fr, Moscow, Russia/School No. 1101) won 8-3 at No. 1 doubles. Jillianne Craft (So, Gulfport/St. Patrick) and Kaitlyn Miller (So, Waynesboro/Wayne County) didn't drop a game in winning at No. 2 doubles


Lopareva, Tierney Holmes (Fr, Greenwood/Greenwood) and Jenna Lyons (So, Pascagoula/Pascagoula) didn't drop a game in their Nos. 4 and 5 singles matches.


Gulf Coast (3-0) returns to action Friday when it plays at Wallace State. The Lady Bulldogs play again in Hanceville, Ala., on Saturday when they play Snead State.
