PERKINSTON---Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College erased a seven-point halftime deficit and rallied past Co-Lin 76-66 Jan. 31 to stay on pace for another post-season berth. JaMichael Hawkins poured in 27 points, including six three-pointers, and Chris Bilbo added 23 in the team’s second straight win. The Bulldogs (13-5, 4-3) also got 11 rebounds from Stacy Caroway and 10 boards from Darius Forest.

The Lady Bulldogs (14-4, 5-2) saw an eight-game winning streak come to an end in a 59-48 defeat. Presley Owens led Gulf Coast with 12 points while MACJC Player of the Week Markia Nix had 9 points and 12 rebounds.

Gulf Coast travels to Southwest Feb. 4 with games at 5:15 and 7:15 p.m.
