PERKINSTON---Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College came from behind in the bottom of the seventh to beat East Mississippi 4-3 in game two and complete a sweep in the home opener for the Lady Bulldogs.

Gulf Coast (4-3) was down 3-2 heading into the bottom of the seventh when Lea Kittrel doubled and scored on an RBI single by Emily Davis. After Dani Craft walked, Reina Baluja doubled and brought home pinch runner Cat Campbell to win it.

In game one, the Lady Bulldogs used a four-run fourth inning to take control and eventually win 9-1. Lady Bulldog pitcher Emily Davis got the win in the circle and went two-for-four at the plate including a solo homerun and two RBI. Dani Craft, Baluja, and Morgan Fairley each had two hits, with Fairley smacking a two-run homer and driving in three runs.

Weather permitting; Gulf Coast travels to Faulkner State for a doubleheader Thursday with games at 4 & 6 p.m.
