MGCCC tennis standouts sign with Belhaven

PERKINSTON---Lachlan Puyol and his twin brother Alex have meant double trouble for opposing players since they came to Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College from Australia. Now both Puyol’s have signed to move on to the next level and play for Belhaven and tennis coach Levi Patton.

As a freshman Lachlan Puyol was an MACJC No. 2 singles Champion and also teamed with brother Alex to help lead the men’s squad to an NJCAA National Tournament appearance for the first time since 2004.

This spring the Puyol brothers (both sophomores) have helped the men’s team open 2013 with a 7-0 record.
