In 2010-11, sophomore guard Raymond Cintron helped lead Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College to its first MACJC basketball title since 1992. This week Cintron became part of another team…the 2011 NJCAA All-American squad. The 6-1, 215 pound native of San Juan, Puerto Rico made the NJCAA’s All-Second Team.

He averaged 18.6 points per game in 2010-11 and scored 410 points as Gulf Coast won the MACJC South Division Crown and ended the season with a 21-6 record. Cintron, a Middle Tennessee State signee, also led the Bulldogs in scoring in 2009-10 with a 19.8 points per game average.
