MGCCC golf team 7th at Wallace St. Invitational

The 2011 fall golf season is underway after Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College took seventh place at the annual Wallace State Invitational. Jared Smith led the way in scoring for Gulf Coast with rounds of 73-73-74, followed by Michael Maley(76-79-73), Jack Sargent (80-77-74), Anthony D’Angelo (74-79-80), and Brad Thornton (85-81-78).

Gulf Coast, the four-time defending Region 23 and two-time defending MACJC Champions, tees off again at the Jim Redgate Invitational Sept. 25-27 in Meridian.
