MGCCC soccer blanks Co-Lin

WESSON---After a scoreless first half, the Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College Lady Bulldogs netted two scores in the second half to shutout Co-Lin 2-0 while the men bludgeoned the Wolves 10-0.

Gulf Coast (7-2, 6-0) jumped out to a quick 4-0 lead and was up 8-0 at halftime while the Lady Bulldogs, behind goals from Brianna Holmes and Torie Zimmer, improved their record to 7-1 overall and 4-1 in the MACJC South Division.

Gulf Coast travels to Itawamba Friday for non-division games at 2 & 4 p.m.
