MGCCC soccer teams ready for post-season action

Both Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College soccer teams are in a
familiar position this time of year...headed to this weekend's MACJC
State Tournament.

The men's squad finished the 2011 regular season Oct. 14 with a 5-0
shutout over Co-Lin that upped their record to 12-4-1 overall and 6-2 in
the MACJC South Division. Gulf Coast, the South Division runner-up, is
waiting to find out where it will play and what seed it will be when the
four-team, two day event begins at either Itawamba or Holmes.

The Lady Bulldogs (13-4, 6-2) edged past Co-Lin in overtime Oct. 14
and are the MACJC'S #2 seed are also waiting to see where they'll take to
the pitch this weekend.
