Basketball splits at Bishop St.

Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College began a four game stretch before the Christmas break at Bishop St. Monday with the men picking up a 75-66 win and the Lady Bulldogs dropping a 60-41 decision.
The Bulldogs (7-2) won behind a 24-point effort from Jeffery Simmons while Jeremiah Dunnings and Angel Matias each had 10.
The Lady Bulldogs (4-4) got 15 points from Shameika Hart in their contest.
Both teams begin MACJC South Division action Thursday at East Central with game times at 6 p.m. and 8 p.m.
