2012 Perkette Dance Team Audition Information

Saturday, April 28th, 2012 Auditions at 8:00 a.m.

Jefferson Davis Campus – Auditorium  

Audition Attire
Black Pants, Tank/Fitted Top, Jazz Shoes/Tennis Shoes

Audition Information

• All participants must bring a completed registration form to the workshop. If a high school student, attach a copy of your MGCCC acceptance letter. If you are a MGCCC student, attach a copy of your unofficial transcript.
• The auditions and interviews are closed to the public.
• In Round One you will perform the learned routine.
• In Round Two you will perform your choreographed routine.
• The interviews will proceed immediately following Round Two. The interview attire should be professional. For example, a dress or blouse/top with nice pants.  

The following may be included in the dance for Round One of auditions:

• Kicks (all levels)
• Splits
• Double/triple Turns
• Fouette Turns
• Right/Left Leaps

The following is required for Round Two of auditions:

• 45-second to 1-minute routine of personal choreography
• Music must be on a CD
