The Bulldogs made it eight in a row with a 63-56 win over Jones to improve to 12-2 overall and 3-0 in the MACJC South Division.
Angel Matias led the Bulldogs with 16 points while Guy Payne had 11 and Darius Forest added 10.
The Lady Bulldogs (8-5, 2-1) saw a four game winning streak snapped in an 81-79 loss to Jones. Gulf Coast was down 41-32 at halftime but went on a 21-9 run during a six-minute stretch to take command of the game in the second half. However, Jones stormed back to eventually tie the game at 77-77 with 10 seconds remaining in regulation. The Lady Bobcats then got a layup from Alecia Autman with three seconds left to seal the victory.
Gulf Coast is back at home Thursday Night hosting Co-Lin with games at 6 & 8 p.m.
