PERKINSTON---Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College continues to roll through MACJC competition with the latest win coming in a 94-79 rout of Southwest Jan. 23. The Bulldogs (14-2, 5-0) are riding a 10-game winning streak into this Thursday's trip to Poplarville to face archrival Pearl River.

Ice Asortse led Gulf Coast with 19 points while Angel Matias had 18, Jeffery Simmons added 15, Justin Childs chipped in 14, and Darius Forest had 11.

The Lady Bulldogs (9-6, 3-2) snapped a two-game losing skid with a 76-53 triumph over Southwest. Gulf Coast jumped out to a 14-2 lead to open the game and then used a 20-7 stretch in the second half to put it out of reach. Shameika Hart led the Lady Bulldogs with 16 points while Ricille Davis had 13.

Gulf Coast battles Pearl River Thursday with game times at 5 & 7 p.m.
