Bulldog men's winning streak snapped in last second loss
SUMMIT---Two winning streaks evaporated Thursday Night as Southwest upset No. 16 Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College 72-71 and ended the Bulldogs' 15-game winning streak. The loss also broke a 13-game winning streak by Gulf Coast against MACJC opponents. The setback also temporarily stopped Gulf Coast from clinching the MACJC South Division. The Lady Bulldogs (11-10, 5-6) defeated Southwest 73-65 behind a 15-point effort from Delainna Lyons. Ricille Davis added 12 while Shameika Hart and LaPrecious Thompson each chipped in 11.
