Golf team blows away field at MACJC Event #2

RAYMOND, MS---The Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College golf team ran away and hid from the rest of the field en route to a 21 shot victory at MACJC Event #2 at Hinds Community College Mar. 3-4. The Bulldogs shot 288-302---590 (+14), with Co-Lin shooting 307-304---611 (+35) and finishing a distant second.

Gulf Coast golfers Drew Seals (71-73---144/Even), Jared Smith (71-75---146/+2), and Marcus Fox (77-73---150/+6) took the top three spots individually.

The Bulldogs, the four-time defending Region 23 champions and two-time MACJC defending champs, have now won both MACJC events and will look to make it three in a row at Co-Lin Mar. 5-6.
