MGCCC golf takes fourth straight match

The Bulldogs 589 trailed host East MS by one shot after Day One, but a final round 289 was good enough to win by 7 shots. East MS 596 finished 2nd, followed by Northwest 603, Copiah-Lincoln 605, Jones 625, Itawamba 653, Northeast 659, ECCC 671, Hinds 697 and Holmes 709.
Teammates Brad Thornton 145 and Jack Sargent 147 joined Fox on the All-Tournament Team. Michael Maley, Jared Smith and Kelsey New shot 155, while Drew Seals 162 and Delton Pounds 163 rounded out the scoring for Gulf Coast. EM's Weston Wallace 143 and Copiah-Lincoln's Hunter Hood 148 were also named to the All-Tournament Team.
All ten teams will finish conference play at the Northwest MACJC Invitaional April 2-3 in Southaven, MS before heading to the MACJC State Championship at Riverbirch Golf Club in Amory, MS April 15-16.
