Megan Lamb got the win and also drove in the game-winning run in game one against Hinds Mar. 27.
Gulf Coast took game one thanks to an RBI single by Kris Albritton and an RBI double by Megan Lamb, who also got the win in the circle for Gulf Coast. Lamb had two hits for the Lady Bulldogs, as did Courtney Moore.
Albritton’s RBI single in the bottom of the seventh helped the Lady Bulldogs win the nightcap 2-1 and notch another victory for pitcher Fallon Dyle. Lea Kittrell had three hits to lead the 11 hit attack for Gulf Coast while Courtney Moore, Shajuan Buckley, and Megan Lamb each had two hits.
The Lady Bulldogs (17-5, 8-2) host Southwest Friday with game times at 2 p.m. and 4 p.m.
