Lady Bulldogs looking for offensive spark

Megan Lamb delivers a pitch Mar. 30 against Southwest.

PERKINSTON---A recent lull in the offense finally caught up with Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College in a 3-0, 8-0 doubleheader sweep by Jones Apr. 3 in Ellisville.

The Lady Bulldogs (19-7, 10-4) got seven hits in game one but couldn’t score while committing five errors in the field.

Gulf Coast only had two hits in the nightcap against the No. 5 ranked Lady Bobcats.

Meanwhile a Wednesday doubleheader at home against Co-Lin was rained out.

The Lady Bulldogs are waiting on tentative dates to make-up rained out doubleheaders with Co-Lin and Pearl River. While the team’s next scheduled twinbill is at Holmes Apr. 10.
