Men’s basketball honored at awards dinner

The 2011-2012 MGCCC men’sbasketball team at its awards dinner Apr. 9.

PERKINSTON---Coaches, players, and support staff with the 2011-2012 Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College men’s basketball team celebrated its MACJC Championship Apr. 9 at Heidelberg Hall on the college’s Perkinston Campus.

This season the Bulldogs went 23-5, won a second straight MACJC title, and finished the season ranked No. 16 in the NJCAA. Head coach Wendell Weathers and assistant coach Patrick Wilcher handed out these awards during the team’s Championship dinner:
