Courtney Moore scored the team’s only run against Northeast Apr. 26.
Gulf Coast could only scatter six hits against Northeast while the Lady Tigers used 10 hits and a two-run homer in the fourth inning to pad their lead.
Kris Albritton and Courtney Moore each had two hits to lead the Lady Bulldogs, with Moore scoring the team’s only run on a wild pitch in the fifth inning.
Gulf Coast now looks to the future, where head coach Kenneth Long brings back both starting pitchers as well as a highly lauded recruiting class.
