MGCCC’S Wineski signs with Southern Miss

Daniel Wineski has signed with Southern Miss.

Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College reliever Daniel Wineski will head up Highway 49 andcontinue his career at The University of Southern Mississippi. The Ocean Springs native has signed with the Golden Eagles for the 2013 season.

Wineski was the top reliever for Gulf Coast in 2012, going 4-0 with a 1.62 ERA, eight saves and 22 strikeouts. Healso earned All-MACJC Second Team honors as Gulf Coast won an MACJC Playoff series for the second straight season and finished second at the MACJC Tournament.
