MGCCC soccer regroups for MACJC action

The MGCCC men's team is 1-1-1 heading into MACJC action this week.

PERKINSTON---After a weekend of friendly tune-up games with some of the best NJCAA teams in the region, the Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College soccer teams are ready to embark on the long road through the MACJC.

The men’s team (1-1-1) played to a 1-1 tie with Wallace State Saturday then dropped a 1-0 decision to Broward Co. Sunday afternoon.

The Lady Bulldogs (1-1) fell 6-1 to No. 1 ranked Tyler on Sunday.

This Wednesday both teams host east Central with games at 5:30 and 7:30 p.m. then open MACJC South Division action at Pearl River Saturday at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.
