MGCCC soccer splits with East Central

PERKINSTON---The Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College Lady Bulldogs got a shutout while the men dropped a tough 3-2 decision to East Central Wednesday Night.

Goals by Anuar Pavia and Jake Crawford kept the men (1-2-1) in the game but East Central got the game winner in the 69th minute during the second half.

Meanwhile the women (2-1) got first half scores from Blair Guice and Jamie Grice and second half goals from Dani Craft and Brianna Medina to seal the victory.

Gulf Coast travels to Pearl River to begin MACJC South Division action Saturday with games at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.
