MGCCC soccer sweeps Southwest

PERKINSTON---Both Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College soccer teams used their last home game until October to pick up MACJC South Division wins over Southwest.

The men (3-3-1, 2-1) used goals from Nick Wheelock, Jake Crawford, Morgan Catchot, and Anuar Pavia to get by Southwest 4-2 while the Lady Bulldogs (3-3, 1-2) got two goals from Brianna Holmes and Tori Ewert and another score from Blair Guice to shut out Southwest 5-0.

Gulf Coast goes on the road Sept. 19 to take on Co-Lin in the first of four straight road games.
