MGCCC Golf team sixth at Wallace St.

Freshman Hayes Weathersby led the Mississippi Gulf Coast CC Golf Team to a strong 6th place finish at the season opener Wallace State Fall Invitational in Cullman, AL. “We love playing against Top 10 Division I NJCAA teams in the fall,” said Coach Snell, “because that competition raises our level of play.” Weathersby fired rounds of 75-67-71—213 on the 6351-yard Cullman Golf Course to finish 4th individually. Brad Thornton, the only sophomore on the trip, shot 230, followed by Jake Pritchard 231, Adam Ham 239, and Corey Connell 242.
