MGCCC tennis serves up victory over Faulkner State

BAY MINETTE, Al.---Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College went on the road and defeated Faulkner State Thursday with the men's team winning 6-3 and the women's team earning a 9-0 victory. The men's squad picked up straight-set singles victories by Kriss Baglais, Alex Drake, Lin Jacobson and Travis Ladner. The teams of Baglais/Drake and Jacobson/Ladner also won in doubles. Ruta Grindvalde, Victoria Hagel, Meagan Terrell, Morgan Rabby, Katy King and Andrea Breland all took straight-set victories for the women's team while Grindvalde/Rabby, Terrell/Hagel and Katherine Blair/Brittany Freeman all won in doubles play. Gulf Coast travels to Meridian this Saturday.
