Kiara Johnson of Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College received most valuable player honors in the annual Mississippi Association of Community and Junior Colleges (MACJC) All-Star Basketball Game held Thursday, March 25, 2010, at East Central Community College in Decatur. Johnson, shown receiving the award from Bill Smith, ECCC women’s head coach, scored nine points in helping leading the South squad to a 73-59 win over the North.
